OUR TERMS

Confirmation and Payments

There is a two night minimum requirement over weekends between March and November.
In order to confirm a reservation, credit card details, address and telephone number are required. We accept cheques or cash and all major credit cards except Diners, cheques or cash. Settlement of all room accounts must be prior to departure.

Cancellation
Cancellation less than 15 days prior to arrival or a reservation not taken up will be charged for in full unless the accommodation is relet.

Other information
All rooms are centrally heated, with individual tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, colour television/DVD and clock radio, plus information on the surrounding area.
Check-in is from 4pm - 6pm, and we would very much appreciate an indication of your expected time of arrival. We ask you to vacate your rooms by 11am on the day of your departure.

Children are welcome and we have family rooms available. There is a small car park.
Smoking is not permitted in any of the bedrooms, the dining room or the sitting room.

Data Protection Policy

The Malt House is committed to protecting your privacy and security. We will only use the information we collect about you with your consent to tell you about our services.

We will never wilfully disclose personal information about you to any third party without first receiving your permission or unless we are under a legal obligation to do so.


SITE TRACKING INFORMATION


A 'cookie' is a small file that resides on your computer's hard drive and enables us to monitor areas of our website. This information is collected and aggregated, and in no way does this unique identifier identify a user personally. The Malt House does not and will not marry any data collected by these third parties with any personal information collected on the website.

The Malt House's site tracking 'cookies' contain no name or address information. It consists of the following information:

A uniquely generated random number - this is how we differentiate visitors.
The date and time of the last visit to the website

3) Click on the 'Security' tab. and choose the 'Custom Level…' button,
4) Find the 'Cookies' option and enable both types, 'stored...' (Permanent cookies) and 'per session...' (Temporary cookies).

Microsoft Internet Explorer v6
In order to enable 'cookies' using Internet Explorer v6,

1) Click on the 'Tools' menu,
2) Select 'Internet Options…',
3) Click on the 'Privacy' tab. and choose the 'Advanced options…' button,
4) Check the 'Override automatic cookie handling' tick-box,
5) Enable the 'First party' cookies by choosing the 'Accept' or 'Prompt' option,
6) Enable the 'Third party' cookies by choosing the 'Accept' or 'Prompt' option.

Netscape Navigator v4 and above
In order to Enable cookies using Netscape v4 and above,

1) Click on 'Edit' on the menu bar and select 'Preferences…',
2) Choose the 'Advanced' category,
3) Choose the 'Accept all cookies' option and click OK to confirm.
